Groundworker — Allegany County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundworker in Allegany County, New York. You will be based on a road and bridge project. On the job you will handle: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Physically fit and comfortable working at height On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
