System formwork carpenter — Rhondda Cynon Taf

Immediate opening: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales. The role involves assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking 3+ years on the tools preferred.
