Lift technician wanted in Yakima County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift technician in Yakima County, Washington. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Full-time with occasional weekends.
