Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Nemaha County, Kansas. The job is on a busy construction site. Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Day-to-day duties: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
