Now hiring: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Borough of Thurrock, England. The job is on a busy construction site. The role involves glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
