Garment presser • Ila, Osun State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment presser in Ila, Osun State. You will work in a garment export house. Day to day you will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep 5+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
