Great opportunity: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Beaufort County, North Carolina. You will work at a cold storage facility. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel Your main tasks: • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness Meals and transport allowance provided.
