Punch press operator • Yola North, Adamawa State

Join our team: we are hiring a punch press operator in Yola North, Adamawa State. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. Day to day you will record output and downtime on the production sheet; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
