Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Allen County, Kansas. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. The role involves lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray. What we are looking for: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Full-time, day shift.
