Urgent requirement: furnace operator (South Dakota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furnace operator in Charles Mix County, South Dakota. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. On a typical shift you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
