Great opportunity: we are hiring a coating plant operator in City of Lexington, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Willing to work shifts and overtime The role involves: • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
