Urgent requirement: tracked excavator operator (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in City of Roanoke, Virginia. You will work at a road and highway construction project. On a typical shift you will dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger. What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
