We are recruiting: we are hiring a halal butcher in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a meat processing plant. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Day to day you will vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
