Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift mechanic in San Luis Obispo County, California. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Your main tasks: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
