Join our team: shuttering carpenter (Michigan)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Chippewa County, Michigan. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. You will assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain. You should have: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
