Day-to-day duties: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Part-time with flexible hours.
