Gatehouse guard — City and County of Swansea

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gatehouse guard in City and County of Swansea, Wales. On the job you will handle: • Check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds • Hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover • Respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts • Log every visitor and vehicle in the duty register • Write up incident reports after any disturbance • Operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door What we are looking for: • Basic reading of English and local language for registers • Height and weight as per security norms • Alert, disciplined and punctual £3,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
