Steam press operator wanted in Red River Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steam press operator in Red River Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a garment factory. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine On a typical shift you will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
