Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Kootenai County, Idaho. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Your main tasks: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
