What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage On a typical shift you will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent.
