Join our team: we are hiring a TIG welder in Massac County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot On the job you will handle: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Rotating shifts.
