Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Miami-Dade County, Florida. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Part-time with flexible hours. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
