Day to day you will hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover; detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; patrol the premises on foot at fixed intervals; respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts; check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door. You should have: • Clean police verification with no criminal record • 1-2 years experience as a security guard 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
