We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Clarke County, Iowa. The job is at a high-rise construction project. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Day-to-day duties: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
