Immediate opening: we are hiring a head butcher in Koko/Besse Local Government Area, Kebbi State. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Day-to-day duties: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Season and marinate meat on request Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
