Bakery assistant • Polk County, North Carolina

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Polk County, North Carolina. The job is at a cake shop. On a typical shift you will load and unload the deck oven with a peel; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
