You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight On a typical shift you will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
