Great opportunity: we are hiring a split AC fitter in Del Norte County, California. Requirements: • Two-wheeler and valid driving licence for site visits • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces Day-to-day duties: • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
