Immediate opening: gas meter installer (West Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Barbour County, West Virginia. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. You will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes. You should have: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
