Turning centre operator • Aroostook County, Maine

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Aroostook County, Maine. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. The role involves set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls 2+ years on the tools preferred.
