Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Rotating shifts.
