TIG welder wanted in Essex County

Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in Essex County, Vermont. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Rotating shifts.
