Requirements: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery The role involves: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet Six days a week, one day off.
