Restoration bricklayer — Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni

Now hiring: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni, Rivers State. On the job you will handle: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage 1+ years on the tools preferred.
