Domestic gas engineer — Carteret County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Carteret County, North Carolina. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. Day-to-day duties: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections Requirements: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Driving licence for travel between sites • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Part-time with flexible hours.
