Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
