Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T On a typical shift you will top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; write and edit G-code programs at the control; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
