Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Wayne County, West Virginia. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. Day-to-day duties: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work 1+ years on the tools preferred.
