Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Teller County, Colorado. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day to day you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Able to pass a weld test on the spot At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
