Glass and glazing technician — Dumfries and Galloway

Great opportunity: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. You will be based in a shopfront glazing company. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves The role involves: • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
