Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Brown County, Nebraska. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day to day you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
