Steel fixing chargehand — McLean County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in McLean County, Kentucky. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
