Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Oakland County, Michigan. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders You will install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply.
