We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Edmonson County, Kentucky. You will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
