Fire and safety officer • Oyi, Anambra State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Oyi, Anambra State. You will work on a high-rise building project. Day to day you will deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height. Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Rotating shifts.
