Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Wilson County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
