Great opportunity: uPVC window fitter (Illinois)

Join our team: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Hardin County, Illinois. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) Full-time with occasional weekends.
