We are recruiting: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Jasper County, Illinois. You will be based at an accident repair centre. You should have: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale You will apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
