Commercial refrigeration engineer — Nicholas County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Nicholas County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy refrigeration workshop. Ideal candidate: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade Day to day you will replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
