Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigger in Barton County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Day to day you will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists.
